my holiday(2)

these pictures are of the Teluk Chempedak beach, which we went to on the second day of our holiday.
but first, i need to talk about the hotel we were living in, which is the Mega View, as mentioned in my first post.
it has air-conditioner, television and a bathroom.
breakfast is also included in the Rm165 for the room.
the beds are nice and do not have bedbugs, at least.
the blankets are warm and are good when the air-con is turned low.
the bathroom has a good hot shower.
apart from the fact the the shower curtain sticks to you and the bathroom is somewhat dirty, i have nothing to complain about.
the food:
it was plentiful but my dad said it was lousy.
i am not a connoisseur so i can't tell the difference between good food and bad food, so i ate too much and had stomach ache.

hotel: 3.5stars
we ate dinner at a thai restaurant which said that we ate seafood rice instead of the chicken rice we ordered and then said both were the same price.

the next day, we decided to go to Teluk Chempedak beach.
we went to the tourist information center and took a lot of pamphlets on Malaysia.
the staff there told us that the bus we were planning to take did not exist anymore, but we could take a taxi to there, and it was better to negotiate the price with the taxi driver before going in.
they said that the price should be Rm15, or less.
so we hailed a taxi and we reached there.
the first thing we saw was monkeys crossing the road.
so we walked along the beach and commented on the stuff there, like how the water was not crystal clear...

so we went on the boardwalk which led to a second beach.
there were monkeys on the boardwalk and they were begging for food.
i don't think you should feed them because then they will come to depend on humans for food and not find food for themselves, or you may give them inappropriate food.
the second beach was nicer than the first one, because it had fine black sand which was good on the feet.
there were also a lot of crabs, and they were black.
i played with the crabs for a long time, but i did not take any of them home, as that would upset the ecosystem.
there was also a small stream which tasted of detergent.(I AM SOOOOOOOOO STUPID!!!!!
WHY DID I TASTE IT???)
so after i played awhile, i went with my parents up the mountain.
that was a big mistake.
there was only a small staircase leading a short way up, then there was a small dirt track.
which was covered in leaves and branches.
but no, my dad HAD to press on.
so we randomly followed the track and after a long long time, we came onto the boardwalk again.
my dad said that it was a place to run when there was a tsunami.
so i went to play on the first beach again and got wet.
so i sat down for a long time to get dry, and my dad got impatient and so we went for lunch at McDonald's.
we all ordered big mac meals.
