i asked my dad to print out Pachabel's Canon in D a few days ago. contrary to my expectations, it was quite easy. the left hand just repeats itself without ANY change, so it's just a matter of playing the left hand correctly and smoothly. which i haven't learned to do. oh well. maybe i should practice some more. *inner voice of god knows what: duh...*

Sin of parents #1: they must compare ourselves to others who are better. apparently it is to to make you strive harder to become better but in actual fact it is degrading and makes you unhappy. well, unhappy for me, because i don't have a soul. perhaps soulful people would feel a thousand times worse.
note: i am NOT religious. i just sound like it.
Sin of parents #2: they say i don't keep my promises and i'm a bad person, but they don't either. my dad had promised not to beat me, but when i did something wrong, he said: "Since you don't keep your promises, then i shall not keep mine too!!" then he beat me. is this right? just because your child does not keep promises does not mean YOU can break them too. set a good example!!!!
