stupid volume control, etc.
just now i opened the volume control and moved my mouse a little. unfortunately, dozens of volume control panels opened and my dad had to open the task manager to close all of them. this computer is getting more and more lag everyday, i swear. my dad thinks that a blog is for you to write essays, but unfortunately for him it's a tool for you to write about everyday things, like an online journal.
he wants me to write about what i feel about national day. ok, whatever. there was the pledge thing at 8:22 p.m. i don't think us students recognise the pledge as a pledge anymore. that's because after years and years of repeating it every school day, we just don't think about it anymore. from wikitionary: pledge A solemn promise to do something. the words of the pledge are: We, the citizens of Singapore i think the national day parade was weird. why the pole dancers? ok, so it's to show that we support sports. but why couldn't they choose something at least slightly stereotypical of sports? pole dancing originated in strip clubs, for goodness sake. maybe the organizer is a lech. or maybe the organizer gave the public(men) a poll:
